Brake disc resurfacing,or skimming as some people call it, is a very cost effective repair and is approved by most of the major vehicle manufacturers.
By resurfacing your brake discs with the Pro-cut brake lathe we can restore a perfectly flat surface to the brake disc against which the new brake pads make good contact.
You can save £££s not only on the cost of the brake discs but on the cost of labour in replacing the brake discs as the Pro-cut resurfaces the discs on the vehicle.
The Pro Cut On-Car Brake Lathe works on drilled, grooved,vented and solid brake discs. It resurfaces brake discs removing corrosion, disc thickness variation and any alien surface material restoring the disc to original factory performance. The picture below shows the same disc before and after the corrosion is removed.
